Pyridoxine 5'-phosphate (B6) also known as P-5-P, is needed for the proper absorption of B12 and magnesium and for production of red blood cells and antibodies. B6 energizes the body by releasing stored glycogen. Like other B vitamins, it acts as a coenzyme—a helper molecule for an enzyme—for many cellular reactions including metabolism of amino acid and fatty acids and production of red blood cells and neurotransmitters.
This formulation is the active already-converted form of B6 and is easier to assimilate into the body.
